Eight Day Ski Tour of Mt Ararat: Starting in the City of Van this tour will give you 4 days on the mountain and involve camping and skiing in harsh and difficult environments. After climbing and skiing, with altitude acclimatisation, you will achieve the summit of Ararat (5137m) on day 5 before skiing the descent. Day 6 includes a tour of the Dogubayazit area with visits to Ishak Pasha Saray, the site which is reputed to contain the remains of Noah’s ark and the hot springs at Diyadin. Day 7 transfer to Van with visits to Van Citadel and the Church of the Holy Cross on Akdamar Island in Lake Van. Day 8 depart. This tour requires a high degree of fitness and skiing ability.

Eleven Day Ski Tour taking in the two principle volcanic peaks of eastern Turkey, Mt Süphan and Mt Ararat. The first day will give an opportunity to visit the sites of the city of Van including the spectacular Citadel. Day 2 starts your ski tour with an ascent of Mt Süphan with the summit (4050m) on day 3. Ski descent and transfer to Dogubayazit and Day 5, your ascent of Ararat. The summit of Ararat (5137m) is day 8 and descent by ski. On day 9 local sightseeing including the hot springs at Diyadin before returning to Van on day 10 for a visit to Akdamar Island and the Church of the Holy Cross.
